Young Professionals for Transplant

During National Donate Life Month of April 2011, the American Transplant Foundation proudly revealed the Transplant Leadership Council, a brand new way to engage supporters in our mission and to provide them with a real way to save lives through the Patient Assistance Program.

We are currently seeking dynamic professionals to become Founding Members of the Council. Get all the details about this exciting opportunity below:

About the Transplant Leadership Council

Mission: The American Transplant Foundation’s Transplant Leadership Council is a dynamic group of emerging young leaders who assist the Foundation in the mission to reduce the growing list of men, women and children who are awaiting a lifesaving transplant.

Vision: To create a powerful leadership network of young professionals in the Denver-metro area and beyond who support the lifesaving mission of the American Transplant Foundation through investments of their time, talent, and treasure.

  • For your convenience, your pledge can be paid incrementally through the end of the year.
  • The joy of changing and saving lives in the local community and nationally through financial support of specific grants. Your annual contribution of $500 will fund at least one specific grant through the Patient Assistance Program.
  • Your donations are tax deductible for the year in which they are given.

Member Goals and Responsibilities

  • Each member of the American Transplant Foundation’s Transplant Leadership Council will make an annual donation of $250.  He or she will also make a commitment to raise a minimum of $250 annually. This $500 minimum will provide members the opportunity to fund specific grant requests through the Patient Assistance Program.
  • Group will meet on ongoing basis to review grant requests and decide which grants will be approved.
  • Group will meet on a quarterly basis to evaluate progress and plan activities.
  • Group will organize and coordinate one signature fundraising event a year.
  • Group will help with fundraising events that benefit the Foundation and assist the Foundation in planning new programs.
