Who are our volunteers?
The American Transplant Foundation’s team of volunteers is a group of individuals who want to save and improve lives by reaching out to the community to promote organ and tissue donation. Some volunteers have been directly affected by organ and tissue donation by receiving the gift of life, becoming a living donor, being part of a donor family, or knowing a relative or friend touched by donation. Other volunteers believe in the cause and want to do something good in their community. However they get involved, we are grateful to each and every one of our volunteers for helping us make a difference. Without the time and dedication of our volunteers, many of our goals would be out of reach.
