Donate Life Specialty License Plate
The Foundation is pleased to announce that the Sixty-seventh Colorado General Assembly has just passed House Bill 09-1347, creating a specialty Donate Life license plate in Colorado!
After three years of collecting signatures and support, the American Transplant Foundation is proud to complete this project. Colorado drivers will soon be able to show their support for organ and tissue donation with their license plates when the Donate Life specialty plates become available for purchase on January 1, 2010.
Special thanks go to Representative Kagan and Senator Romer, who sponsored of the legislation, and to Representatives Benefeld, Frangas, J. Kerr, McFayden, Nikkel, Primavera, Solano and Senator Spence who signed on as co-sponsors. House Bill 09-1347 was successfully passed in the House of Representatives on April 29, 2009 and in the Senate on May 5, 2009.
