10th Annual Donor Dash

The Foundation was a proud sponsor of and participant in Donor Alliance’s 10th Annual Donor Dash on Sunday, July 19th in Denver’s Washington Park. The Donor Dash is a 5K run/walk to honor the lives of organ and tissue donors, celebrate the lives of organ and tissue recipients, and recognize the lives of those waiting for a lifesaving transplant.

Our 32 team members, among them kidney recipients Ed Broski, Justin Fulton, and Bryan Miller and liver recipient Vienna Danna, raced to help raise awareness for the tremendous need for organ and tissue donation in Colorado and Wyoming. Volunteers staffed a booth during the Donor Dash expo to inform attendees about organ and tissue donation and the American Transplant Foundation’s programs and events.

Donor Alliance broke yet another record for their highest number of participants with more than 2,900 racers!
