“Kidney transplant inspires Colo. man to write book” – CBS 4

September 1, 2009 – Molly Hughes, CBS4 (Denver)

“After a long journey of exploring all options, Farber received a transplant from his oldest son Gregg, who was a perfect match, in May of 2004.

‘I said to myself as I was going through this process that if I made it through I’d create a foundation to create a greater awareness as to what transplantation is all about.’

With the American Transplant Foundation successfully underway, he tackled his second promise to himself.

‘I really saw a huge need to write a book,’ said Farber.

On the List has just been released. It explores the legal, political, economic and ethical debates surrounding organ transplant.”
