TLC Quarterly Meeting at Harman Hall – April 19,2012
On April 19th, 2012 the Transplant Leadership Council (TLC) had its quarterly meeting at historic Harman Hall in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood.
At the meeting, members celebrated the TLC’s success at supporting transplant patients in need; had the opportunity to meet and network; heard updates about TLC’s recent and upcoming activities; and received an educational overview of the transplant process.
Special guests at the event included:
- Pat Hamill – Chairman and CEO, Oakwood Homes LLC. Mr. Hamill is the owner of historic Harman Hall where the meeting took place. Check out the event photos below to see some of the outstanding work Mr. Hamill did to modernize this historic building! (Note: features of the building are controlled wirelessly by iPad!)
- Phil Haag – CEO of The Monroe Group, American Transplant Foundation Board Member. Phil’s company is offering a generous challenge grant to match up to $25,000 raised or donated by the first 50 TLC Members. This will all go to supporting transplant patients in need.
- Tracey – living kidney donor assisted by the Patient Assistance Program. Tracey recently donated a kidney to her brother, and thanks to the Patient Assistance Program, Tracey had help during her recovery period when she was not able to work. (Click here to watch a video of Tracey and her brother Chris telling their story.)
- Steve Farber – Founder and Chairman of American Transplant Foundation; President and Founding Partner of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.
