Team Transplant Village Volunteers Needed!

We need volunteers to help organize and manage Team Transplant Village on Sunday, June 2nd!

Team Transplant is the American Transplant Foundation’s charity cycling team. This team of cyclist will be paricipating in the 2013 Elephant Rock Cycling Festival in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Team Packet distribution 

Shift: 5:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

• Assist with set up and tear down of our table 
• Distribute packets to team members
• Answer questions team members may have before they begin riding

Community education and donor registration drive

The Subaru Elephant Rock draws over 7,000 people every year. This is a great opportunity to reach a lot of people!

Shift 1: 7:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Shift 2: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Provide the public information about organ and tissue donation
• Talk about American Transplant Foundation’s mission
• Answer questions and dispel common myths about donation
• Encourage people to register to become organ and tissue donors
• Invite people to sign up for our email list

Selling Team Transplant Gear

Shift 1: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Shift 2: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Sell jerseys, socks, arm warmers, and shorts
• Run the credit card machine
• Keep careful track of inventory, cash and check donations
• You can see our gear on our website

Milkshake and smoothie making

Shift 1: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Shift 2: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Assist with set-up and tear-down of team tent “kitchen area”
• Prepare and serve smoothies and milkshakes to our team members
• Sell smoothies (for donations) to people not with Team Transplant
