This year the team set a huge record! The 11 teammates raised $6,990 towards American Transplant Foundation programs to help the most vulnerable patients nationwide.

On Sunday, October 19 Team Transplant ran to raise awareness surrounding the lifesaving importance of organ donation while jamming to Rock ‘n’ Roll played by local bands.  Inspired at every mile by a variety of rock, punk, funk and jazz, Team Transplant joined thousands of runners on a tour of the city.

Encouraged by over 15,000 race day fans, runners competed in distances varying from a 5k to the half marathon.  At the end, we all came together for an intimate gathering at Sassafras American Eatery to enjoy delicious brunch and do the well-anticipated raffle drawings!

Please join us next year to fight for the lives of the 123,000 men, women, and children nationwide waiting for organ transplants!!
