Laurence K. Chan, MD, PhD

Dr. Laurence K. Chan received his MD from the University of Hong Kong in 1972. His is a Professor of Medicine, Nephrology, and Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is also a member of the Transplant Center at the University of Colorado Hospital.

Dr.  Chan specializes in the application of NMR and other molecular biomarkers in allograft rejection. His medical research focuses on the effects of different immunosuppressive drugs on cellular metabolism, and he works in renal transplantation, chronic renal failure, hypertension, and gastroenterology.
