My name is Daniel, and I am asking for your help to save my life.
I have Diabetes type 2, congestive heart failure, PTSD, anxiety, and Chronic kidney disease stage 5. The doctor won't put me on the standard waiting list due to my heart condition - the possible risky complications I can have during surgery and how long it will take for the kidney to take effect. Most of my family also suffer from kidney disease and are therefore unable to donate.
I am an ex stage performer, chef, and construction tradesman who graduated from the International College of Broadcasting in Dayton, Ohio, in both degree programs. I love my 7 kids and 4 grandchildren. I love making commercials, video work, and photography. I attended Wright State University for motion picture, and I am ready to tell stories and make movies. I would like to create a docuseries and promote awareness programs that can assist with peoples lives. I am a Certified Peer Recovery Supporter in my state and a community activist. I have the drive and determination to see things better in the world and support others to do the same.
I love my 7 kids and 4 grandchildren. I need to stay alive to help support their dreams and provide help for them when needed.
I am surviving for the time being, but if I had a living donor, my chances of living would be greater.
After transplant, I would like to continue to take care of my family, myself, and promote and expand resources and information through video and art, business development, and community action across the country.
Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. No waiting and wondering while my body continues to weaken.
Thank you for taking your time to read and understand my current life situation, and we would appreciate you considering donating or spreading the word.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
Daniel
