In Need of a Kidney Donor

My name is Dino, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I am on the kidney transplant list in Colorado.I am originally from Greece and have been in the United States for over 46 years. I am married and have a 22 year old daughter studying English in Greece. I owned and operated a restaurant in Denver called Chef Zorbas from 1999-2018.  Chef Zorbas has been a staple Greek restaurant in the Capital Hill community for decades and is one the best Greek restaurants in Denver. I sold the restaurant to focus on my health and family.

I am in stage 5 kidney failure and is on dialysis. I’m in need of a lifesaving organ transplant.I am looking for a living donor. I am asking this of both friends and strangers. We had one potential donor tested and we were not a match. Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. No waiting and wondering while my body continues to weaken.

I can receive from blood types O+ or O-. Even if you do not have the same blood type, you can donate as part of  a paired exchange programThe entire process is strictly confidential and medical costs are covered by my insurance.

Please review existing Living Donor Benefits/Rights to determine which apply to you. In addition, the American Transplant Foundation has a financial resources guide you can consult for further information.

Thank you for considering saving my life,

Dino

The American Transplant Foundation, with the generous support from Mile High Billboards, is displaying Dino’s website on several billboards in the Denver metro area in an effort to find a living donor.
