In Need of a Kidney Donor

My name is James, and I am asking for your help to save my life. I am 67 years old and on the kidney transplant list in Massachusets.

I am a father of 3, with my first son just getting married. I am still working to support my family. My life is not good and requires a technical electrolytes balance and fluid balance and treatment balance. I am not myself. After transplant I hope to retire, live life without dialysis, get the word out for future transplant recipients, and dream for xenotransplantation studies. I just want to live a normal life and be able to see my grandchildren.

I am looking for a living donor. I am asking this of both friends and strangers as I have no immediate family that can donate. Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. I am compatible with any Type A, B, AB, and O blood type.

The most difficult part of waiting for a transplant is not knowing what the future holds.  The first step is to contact my transplant center using the information in the box above. The entire process is strictly confidential, and medical costs are covered by my insurance.

Please review existing Living Donor Benefits/Rights to determine which apply to you.

Thank you for considering saving my life.

With deep gratitude,

James
