mark—  POtential kidney Transplant Recipient

My name is Mark, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I'm one of the Camp Lejeune Marines. In the last six years I've had Stage 3B Colon Cancer, which I beat. Now, I have End-Stage Kidney disease. I do dialysis three times a week. I've suffered because I was on Camp Lejeune.

I'm a former US Marine. I'm a Gulf War veteran. I'm a single parent. Before I stopped working I was a web developer. I'd been a developer for the last 20 years. I love being a dad, its the toughest job I've ever had. I love fishing and I love computers. I just want to be able to see my 12 year old daughter become an adult. My dream is to dance at her wedding.

To anyone considering donating, there's not enough words that I could use to express my gratitude. All I would do is hug you and cry because you've given me life.

I am looking for a donor with type O blood.

Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. No waiting and wondering while my body continues to weaken.

Thank you for taking your time to read and understand my current life situation, and we would appreciate you considering donating or spreading the word.

Thank you so much for your consideration!

Mark
