Are You Interested in Saving the Life of Someone on the Transplant List?

Have you ever considered giving the Gift of Life?  There many people out there just like you who are interested in learning more about saving a life through living organ donation but are not sure where to start.

The American Transplant Foundation can help!  Whether you are simply trying to determine whether living donation is right for you or if you are ready to take the first step, the Potential Living Donor Database (PLDD) is a great way to be connected to more information, resources, and profiles of those who are looking for a donor.

The PLDD is a commitment-free platform that allows our staff to connect with potential donors on a one-on-one basis to determine their individual needs.  Those who sign up for the database will have access to:

  1. 1+1=LIFE Mentorship services
  2. Profiles of those who are looking for a living donor

Upon signing up for the Potential Living Donor Database, you will receive an automated email with basic information on living donation.  If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk mail folder.  You will also receive a phone call from an American Transplant Foundation staff member.

Please note: Participating in the Potential Living Donor Database does not mean that you are on an official donor registry.  This program is meant to provide information and support to those interested in donating an organ.

Sara is a non-directed donor who participated in a donation chain. Her sacrifice saved the lives of six people on the transplant waitlist.
