Prashad-LOOKING FOR kidney DONOR BLOOD TYPE B+

To Become My Living Donor:

STEP 1

Please fill out the questionnaire linked below for my transplant center, if you would like to be tested to become my donor. You will need my name: Baichan Prashad. ALL MEDICAL COSTS ARE PAID BY MY INSURANCE!

STEP 2

Please take a few minutes to join our confidential database so we can send you updates and resources.

My name is Prashad, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I am a retired US Navy Veteran. I have chronic kidney disease and am looking for a living kidney donor so I do not have to go on dialysis, because I have no family who can support me.

I am currently on a kidney transplant list in New York, but am hoping to find a live donor because my disease is severe.

Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. No waiting and wondering while my body continues to weaken. More so, this surgery is covered for both the donor and the recipient under my health insurance!

If you have any questions or concerns about the living donation process in any aspect, please sign up for the American Transplant Foundation's Potential Living Donor Database and we can provide you with any resources you may need, including speaking with a living organ donor directly.

I would appreciate you sharing this information with anyone that you know who might be interested or a match.

The most difficult part of waiting for a transplant is not knowing what the future holds. The first step is to contact my transplant center using the information in the box above. The entire process is strictly confidential and medical costs are covered by my insurance.

Please review existing Living Donor Benefits/Rights to determine which apply to you. In addition, the American Transplant Foundation has a Financial Resource Guide you can consult for further information.

Thank you so much for considering saving my life!
