Ramon-LOOKING FOR LIVER DONOR BLOOD TYPE A or O+

"I look forward to running around and enjoying life with my children and spending quality time making memories with them."

Ramon— POtential liver Transplant Recipient

My name is Ramon, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I come from a large close-knit family and I have 4 children. I love to (when I was healthy enough to) go on family fishing trips, camping, and hanging out with family.
My family is my life. I worked as a data comm installer before I stopped working 3 years ago due to my condition.

I have liver cirrhosis. Within the last year my quality of life has gone down hill. I have to go weekly sometimes biweekly to get fluid drained from my right lung in order to be able to breathe, eat, or even sleep. I am in pain daily and can't remember the last day that I felt normal.

I have been placed on the liver transplant list but am in hopes of finding a live donor because my disease is severe.

I look forward to having a normal day with no body pain, no breathing problems being able to make my bed without running out of breath. I look forward to running around and enjoying life with my children and spending quality time making memories with them.

Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. No waiting and wondering while my body continues to weaken. More so, this surgery is covered for both the donor and the recipient under my health insurance!

If you have any questions or concerns about the living donation process in any aspect, please sign up for the American Transplant Foundation's Potential Living Donor Database and we can provide you with any resources you may need, including speaking with a living organ donor directly.

I would appreciate you sharing this information with anyone that you know who might be interested or a match.

Thank you so much for your consideration!

Ramon
