SAM - in need of a kidney

My name is Sam, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I have lived in Denver, Colorado almost my whole life. I love being in Colorado. I enjoy traveling to the mountains and being outdoors. I am a Father and Grandfather. I have 4 grandkids with a 5th one on the way. I am very active in their life. I go to all their sporting events, school events and try to help babysit as much as possible.

I work with my daughters Mental Health Clinic. I am passionate about helping people and I am always there to help family and friends.

I am a very warm, kind person. I am a hard worker; I've always provided for and supported my whole family. I love music, animals, being outdoors, traveling, but most of all I love my kids and grandkids. I would be incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity to receive a kidney.

It's very difficult not being able to travel or do some of the things that I love. Not having energy, feeling tired, diet restrictions. Not being able to live the life I would like to.

After a transplant, I would love to be able to travel with my grandkids. I was born in Poland, and it was my dream to be able to take my kids to Poland to show them where I was born. Right now I am not able to travel, especially over seas. My dream is to be able to have a longer life and be able to watch my grandkids grow up - to be able to have energy and keep up with them.

Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. No waiting and wondering while my body continues to weaken.

My insurance covers all medical expenses and there are many resources available to you.
