In Need of a Liver Donor

 

My name is Shawn, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I am on the liver transplant list in Philadelphia, PA. 

I am a mother of 2, an older sister, and now engaged! I love gardening, nature, walking, sunshine, and my great nieces and nephews. I am tired more than not, itchy, have joint pain, and a lot of brain fog. I can’t stand, walk, play as long anymore.  I take a million naps, something I never used to. 

I hope after a transplant I can grow in my relationships especially with God. I hope I can get strength back and have no fatigue. I hope to live long and strong. I hope to be happy and be able to accept myself. 

 

 

 
 

I am looking for a living donor. I am asking this of both friends and strangers as I have no immediate family that can donate. Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. I am compatible with any Type A, B, AB and O blood type.

The most difficult part of waiting for a transplant is not knowing what the future holds.  The first step is to contact my transplant center using the information in the box above. The entire process is strictly confidential, and medical costs are covered by my insurance.
