In Need of a Liver Donor

My name is Soo, and I am asking for your help to save my life. I am on the liver transplant list in California.

I live an active lifestyle. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, yoga, pilates, and working out at the gym. I am incredibly invested in my work, I am even a workaholic at times, but only because I take great pride in my work.

I have a recurring liver cancer, which means there is a level of urgency of the transplant. Due to this, I am unable to drive, to work, to exercise, and even unable to walk more than 10 minutes. My is body weak and puffy 24/7 and painful at times too.

With a new liver, I would see this as a second chance at life. I would love to share my wisdom and knowledge with those around me. I would work to contribute and improve other people’s lives.

I am looking for a living donor. I am asking this of both friends and strangers as I have no immediate family that can donate. Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. I am compatible with any Type B or Type O blood type.

The most difficult part of waiting for a transplant is not knowing what the future holds. I hope to get back to my active lifestyle. The first step is to contact my transplant center using the information in the box above. The entire process is strictly confidential, and medical costs are covered by my insurance.

Please review existing Living Donor Benefits/Rights to determine which apply to you.

Thank you for considering saving my life.

With deep gratitude,

Soo
