“I would be forever grateful to anyone willing to consider giving the gift of life. Your generosity would not only give me a second chance but would also allow me to continue sharing precious moments with my family and living life to the fullest.”

In Need of a Liver Donor

My name is Steven, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I’ve always been a family-oriented person. Time with my loved ones means everything to me, and I cherish every moment we spend together. I’ve lived an active lifestyle, playing golf, exercising regularly, and doing my best to stay healthy and strong.

I was diagnosed with advanced liver disease, and while I remain hopeful, my MELD score is low. This means my best chance at survival is through a living donor. I am doing everything I can to stay healthy and prepare my body for transplant. My doctors have shared that now is the ideal time for surgery, while I am still strong enough to recover well. I would be forever grateful to anyone willing to consider giving me the gift of life. Your generosity would not only give me a second chance but would also allow me to continue sharing precious moments with my family and living life to the fullest. I deeply respect the courage and selflessness it takes to make such a decision, and I would honor that gift every single day through how I live my life.

My greatest hope is to regain my health so I can continue creating memories with my family and enjoy the activities I love, like playing golf and staying active. After transplant, I am excited to return to a more active lifestyle, travel, and be there for all the milestones and everyday moments with my family.

I am looking for a living donor. I am asking this of both friends and strangers. Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. I am compatible with Type O blood type.

The most difficult part of waiting for a transplant is not knowing what the future holds. I look forward to feeling stronger, living a fuller life, and spending quality time with my children and grandchildren. The first step is to contact my transplant center using the information in the box above. The entire process is strictly confidential and medical costs are covered by my insurance.

Please review existing Living Donor Benefits/Rights to determine which apply to you.

Thank you for considering saving my life.

With deep gratitude,

Steven
