“Your gift would not just change my life — it would give me life. It would give me the chance to hope again, to dream again, and to live again.”

In Need of a Kidney Donor

My name is Reggie, and I am asking for your help to save my life.

I’ve always been someone who cherishes life, family, and those small, meaningful moments that turn into lasting memories. I come from a close-knit, loving family, and some of my best days have been spent simply laughing with my sisters and their families, especially gathered around a good BBQ. I used to love playing basketball, being outside, and staying active. Sports have always been a huge part of who I am—basketball, wrestling, pretty much all of them. They gave me joy, energy, and a real sense of connection.

But life has taken a turn I never saw coming. For the past three years, I’ve been battling kidney failure. Both of my kidneys have failed due to a hereditary condition, and I’ve been undergoing dialysis just to stay alive. It’s been a tough road, and despite fighting with everything I’ve got, I know time isn’t on my side.

Still, I do everything I can to hold on to the light in my life. My faith keeps me grounded. I go to church regularly, and it has been a lifeline during the darkest moments. And my dad is my rock. I try to spend as much time with him as I can, drawing strength from just being by his side.

Every day, I hold on to hope. Hope that someone out there might hear my story and consider giving me the greatest gift a person could give: another chance at life.

  • Step 1

Please contact my doctor below if you would like to learn more or be tested to become my donor. You will need my name: Reggie Hall

    Phone number: (718) 979-6017

I am looking for a living donor. I am asking this of both friends and strangers, because I have no immediate family that is able to donate. Living donor transplants generally have better outcomes and can be arranged at a time convenient for both parties. I am compatible with any Type O blood type. Even if you do not have the same blood type, you can donate as part of a paired exchange program.

The most difficult part of waiting for a transplant is not knowing what the future holds. Right now, so much of my life feels like it’s on pause. But I hold on to the hope that one day, I’ll be able to move forward. I dream of meeting someone special, getting married, having children, and building the kind of life I’ve always imagined—a life filled with love, family, and purpose. The first step is to contact my transplant center using the information in the box above. The entire process is strictly confidential and medical costs are covered by my insurance.

Please review existing Living Donor Benefits/Rights to determine which apply to you.

Thank you for considering saving my life.

With deep gratitude,

Reggie
